The Dangerous Damsels is a women’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo lifestyle brand founded by Pennsylvania’s first-ever dual black belt in BJJ & Judo, Monica Brogan. In addition to grappling apparel, our foundational women’s self-defense program, the Dangerous Damsels, was created as an alternative to the all-too-common but ineffective one day or weekend women’s self-defense seminars.
Rather than providing false hope, Monica developed a 12-week self-defense program based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo that teaches women the essential skills needed to get away from a larger, stronger, more athletic attacker and if necessary, actually subdue them.
In addition to our 12-week women’s self defense program, Monica and her instructors are available for in person group and private lessons by appointment.
We are also honored to run Dangerous Damsels affiliate programs at Harrisburg Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo (Harrisburg, PA), York Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (York, PA) and Gracie NEPA (Scranton, PA).
